Install the YTindir app
YTindir is a PWA (Progressive Web App). No App Store or Google Play: add it to your home screen and use it full screen like an app, with offline startup. It also shows up in YouTube’s Share menu.
iPhone / iPad (Safari)
- Open this page in Safari (this does not work in Chrome).
- Tap the Share icon (square with an arrow) in the bottom bar.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add in the top right. The YTindir icon is on your home screen.
You can now share videos directly from the YouTube app via Share → YTindir.
Android (Chrome)
- Tap the Install button that appears at the bottom of the page, or
- Open the menu in the top right and choose Install app / Add to Home screen.
- Confirm. YTindir appears in your app drawer.
Desktop (Chrome, Edge)
- Click the install icon on the right of the address bar.
- Confirm Install. The app opens in its own window.
Why install?
- Quick access: Opens with one tap, full screen without browser bars.
- Share to it: Share directly from YouTube without copying links.
- Lightweight: A few hundred KB; no storage use, no background activity.
- Always up to date: Always the latest version, no store updates.
